Carbon Balancing

We are committed to taking action to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and public disclosure of our emissions. We began calculating, monitoring and publishing our emissions data in 2024 using the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

We chose to work with the World Land Trust, a respected UK based environmental charity to calculate our carbon footprint.

The World Land Trust only work in highly biodiverse areas that are under threat from human activity, where they work with partners to restore degraded forests, plant new trees, and protect the well-established primary forests in Guatemala, Mexico and Uganda.

In 2024 we completed our first assessment of our carbon emissions across our value chain measuring our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 4 emissions.

Scope 1 ——— 0.000 tCO2e
Scope 2 ——— 0.000 tCO2e
Scope 3 ——— 61.246 tCO2e

Total — 61.246 tCO2e

We chose to offset Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions in their entirety.

We are continuing to account for our emissions and progress in reduction and elimination on an annual basis. Using this data, we are reviewing our goals and actions each year in order to make our commitments stronger and our corresponding activities more effective.

Some of the initiative's we’ve implemented include:

  • Running our website entirely on green energy verified by the Green Web Foundation.
  • Providing eco-vouchers to employees for use on eco-friendly purchases
  • Providing local eco-travel incentives to promote sustainable transit methods such as Cycle Schemes
  • Prioritising remote work unless necessary to meet in person
  • Preferencing vendors and supplies on the basis of environmental credentials
  • Returning electronic equipment to vendors for recycling and using other e-waste recycling programs
